Oxalate poisoning in a koala (Phascolarctos cinereus

ABSTRACT

A case of suspected acute oxalate poisoning is reported in an aged male koala. The animal had extenslve renal oxalosis and a haemorrhagic bladder wall when autopsied. The source of the oxalate was not detected.
